About

My love of food and cooking stems from growing up on a farm in Ireland. As one of eight children, with the dining table being the centre of country life, we ate home grown fruit, vegetables and herbs from the garden. Summers were spent by the sea picking mussels, and we foraged for wild mushrooms and more in the Autumn and Spring.

An early career in horse racing enabled me to cook as a hobby, which quickly developed into a passion. After a chance opportunity working for a well known actress in the South of France, under her guidance, I began to see a career with food emerging, delighting in the local markets and wonderful ingredients available.

My experience as a freelance chef has seen me travel all over the world, cooking in ski lodges, country retreats, European and north African villas, corporate London, and health and detox holidays, to name a few, working for a diverse and lengthy list of clients.
